French Zero-Waste Brand Juliette Raises €2 Million

French brand Juliette landed €2 million from Gilbert Laboratories to fuel product development and distribution.

WHO: Based in Normandy, Juliette was founded in 2020 by Karline Hamain and her husband Baptiste with the ambition to offer products for a zero-waste home by focusing on health, planet, price, and pleasure.

The brand launched with an eco-responsible waterless Ecocert COSMOS Natural certified shower gel formula.

Since 1904, Gilbert Laboratories, a French industrial group, has been operating in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, hygiene, CDMO, and spas and institutes offering health solutions that respect humans and the environment across a portfolio of nearly 50 brands exported to 86 countries. Gilbert employs more than 1,000 people in its laboratories and its 5 production sites, all located in France, with a turnover of €200 million in 2020.

WHY: The company will use the seed capital for product development and the expansion of distribution.
